CHILD Back to School Picnic

According to the sign-in sheet, we had 31 families attending, 122 persons! That was a great turnout! Thanks to everyone who made our first event of the school year a success. Pepsi donated 6 and Coca-Cola donated 5 cases of drinks. Reddy-Ice donated 10 large bags of ice.

Scripture and Poetry Recitation

Thank you Anita Crowley and Carol Bohnett for organizing the Scripture and Poetry Night. I thoroughly enjoyed all the poems and marvelled at the persons who memorized both scripture segments and poetry. Hooray for them! An encouragement to others to "hide the Word in your heart." Again, I truly enjoyed the fellowship and the readings.

Another Banner Year! We had over 100 children participate in eleven age groups. The weather cooperated again this year.
